First off, management and fellow employees are great. Nice facility and fun job getting to drive a variety of vehicles, management is very appreciative of efforts produced and works hard on trying to provide work hours. The worst part if the job is being outside in the summer when you have to do things with the vehicle. There is generous time off depending on the customer location. I believe that second and third shift are pretty good, but first shift A is awful. I have learned about safe speeds, pedestrian safety and more during regular safety meetings. The hardest part is sittting in traffic, but we get overtime if our shift goes long.

The culture is relaxed and easy-going and the people I worked with were friendly and fun. The worst part if the job is being outside in the summer when you have to do things with the vehicle.
Kett Engineering Employee Reviews for Driver
This is a good company for if you need a job. I was told something completely different at the interview than what was happening on the job site. Good place to work. Fun place to work.
Great for those who are retired. WE were told you would have a week off with no work because the manufacturer would pull the car.
This was the best part time job I have ever had, all of the other drivers were wonderful to work with and very helpful and welcoming to new employees. The work was fun and engaging, I was able to drive a wide variety of vehicles and provide useful information directly to automotive engineers. Great comradery in work place. The hours aren’t guaranteed despite the fact that they’re almost continually advertising for more ‘Test Drivers’, most of the Drivers only get an average of days work per week, so I don’t foresee getting MORE hours.
Automotive Testing Services and Vehicle Test Support
Hired for 2nd shift, scheduled 5 days off, day 6, 1st shift, even though I advised preference, and that changing hours makes people sick: They taught you everything you needed to know.
The management and people are great just lack of steady work for biweekly pay now. There’s absolutely no real incentive to stay working there. Great advancement opportunities and decent benefits.
They call you only when they need you about hours before shift. First off, management and fellow employees are great. Ask a question about working or interviewing at Kett Engineering. Then I check the tire pressure and oil level and record on driver log. Great place to work. The management had poor organization skill and it was an on- call positions. Our community is ready to answer.
Hired for 2nd shift, scheduled 5 days off, day 6, 1st shift, even though I advised preference, and that changing hours makes people sick: I enjoy driving to dan point, hesperia and ventura. Sleep deprivation not only causes strokes, and heart attacks, but premature aging, and diseases like diabetes, MS, and more due to use of stimulants to force performance.
I worked swing shift and enjoyed it. Plenty of opportunity to advance and travel to different locations. This was the best part time job I have tdst had, all of the other drivers were wonderful to work with and very helpful and teest to new employees.
I believe that second and third shift are pretty good, but first shift A is awful. It could be a career but do to layoffs and scheduling for training with advance meant it is not a great fit for myself.
I met so many interesting people there. I met so many interesting people there.
